Vampires are beings who take in energy from outside sources, they are often either unable to take in energy in a typical fashion, their ability to do this is limited, or they can't convert it properly. These beings are self-sufficient in this area and don't need need to feed from their companions though as a reward, they may accept! They are typically Dark Arts but as usual, this can vary on the individual. There are three main types: Psy, Sanguine, and Aqua. This is based on what sources they intake their energy from. As for temperament, this can also vary on the individual and the clan they come from, their culture if you will.

**Psy**
Psy Vampires take in true energy, they feed on the converted spiritual energy others have and are often quick on their feet with sharp minds and can boost a companion's psychic senses, helping their connection with the Astral, and generally being amazing companions! They are often calm and sound of mind, rational to a fault.

**Sanguine**
Sanguine Vampires take in bodily energy from others, they need the energy that flesh and blood produce and often can very much appreciate a homecooked meal with meat as the main course for an offering. They are incredibly strong and having a Sanguine Vampire around can exude a kind of power in any situation and help one command a room. It may help to think of Psy as brains and Sanguine as brawn.

**Aqua**
Aqua Vampires take in energy from water, a driving life force of the world we live on. They often have a deep wanderlust and appreciate companions who are eager to know more, to broaden their horizons. They are a little bit more few and far between than other types of Vampires as they're not as interested in companionship typically.

**Dhampir**
Dhampirs are children of a union between a Vampire and human, tending to hold many of the same attributes as both parents but their need to intake energy may vary as Vampires are beings who need to take in outside energy of differing kinds to survive, sometimes as a result of not being able to produce it themselves and this energy can range from the spiritual energy that a Psy Vampire requires, physical energy that the Sanguine Vampire requires, or water as the Aqua Vampire needs!

**Desert Vampire**
Desert Vampires, a conjure unique to BRM, are naturally scavengers, they don’t need to intake as much energy as typical Vampires and prefer energy that is less potent or not fresh, sometimes stagnant, or simply old, they are also able to store it and may prefer to dilute it to suit their needs when energy is in short supply. They can be either Sanguine, Psy, or Aqua and vary in clan. Their lack of need for energy seems to be a kind of mutation that is common in certain clans but can happen naturally from time to time, though these cases aren’t typically reported or thought of more than in terms of a preference or quirk.

**Reverse Adoption**
This option is for those who would like to leave their options open on going into companionship with a Vampire to see who may feel called to your energy!

**WHAT IS A REVERSE ADOPTION?**
Rather than you picking the spirit, your spirit will pick you. When conjuring, we will set forth intention with your energy to draw in potential spirit companions that will best suit your energy and composition as a person. This means that sometimes there may be multiple spirit options for you to choose from.

**WHAT IS A CUSTOM CONJURE?**
You can request a certain spirit type for this listing and we will send out a calling for only that particular kind of spirit.

**TEMPERAMENT?**
Art profiles are often used as a way to describe an entity’s moral compass in comparison to or relation to ours, but we find that the way their energy presents and feels CAN be vastly different from their temperament. Even an Angelic for example can have negative intentions and cause harm, they can lie and deceive and have a short temper just as any other kind of spirit is capable of.

**ARTS PROFILES**
▪️Light Arts: They tend to have an energy that presents in a lighter way, sometimes as light or warmth with brighter shades that come to mind. Their energy can feel uplifting and hazy, like a dream at times.
▪️Gray Arts/Neutral Arts: Energy that is more relative to ours, they may feel more familiar to us as Humans are generally Gray Arts and this energy can present itself in more saturated or dense shades, something tangible to us.
▪️Dark Arts: This energy is often heavy, sometimes feeling like smoke or heavy rain and can present itself in darker shades such as navy or black, deep reds and the like. This energy is quite different from ours and can feel a little harder to grasp, some may experience headaches from the intensity, but this will absolutely pass!

Though it is subject to change depending on the arts and temperament of your conjure (as well as other factors such as their obligations outside of companionship and status), the vetting process is projected to take anywhere from 6 and 8 weeks. Please keep in mind that your companion will not be visiting you without your express consent during the vetting process, and to be wary of presences or spirits that claim to be your companion. Vetting is a necessary component to conjuring that ensures that your companion is safe to work with, as well as allowing us to collect as much information about them as we can to share with you.

You will receive a full write-up that will include your companion's name, their race/spirit type and arts, a description of their physical appearance and personality, offerings that they prefer (and possibly some they refuse), as well as their preferred communication methods. More information may be provided at the discretion of the spirit. Should your companion fail vetting, you will be notified immediately with the option to re-conjure or receive a full refund.
